The Boston Celtics has defeated the Atlanta Hawks in game 2 of the best-of-7 first round series of the 2012 NBA Playoffs. Without Rondo and Allen, Pierce lifted the team with 36 points.

The game is not easy for Boston as Smith, Johnson and Teague also played well. Joe Johnson led the team with 22 points. The game changed abruptly when Smith was fouled out during the 4th quarter.
