The 21-year-old American Idol finalist refused to have the surgery because he doesn’t want to lose the one in a lifetime chance of being the American Idol. According to the report, the recovery time for the surgery is at least 6 weeks.
This means that we will still see Phillip Phillips in the last performance night (May 22) and grand finale (May 23) of American Idol.
